Are you able to commit a few hours each month to support your local community and make a positive difference to those living with dementia or struggling with their mental health? Evesham and District Mental Health Support Services is an independent charity, established in 1973, working for a better life for everyone with experience of mental distress.
We provide advice, support and counselling services to those in the local area and also run the Evesham and District Meeting Centre, supporting those with dementia and their carers to live well after their diagnosis.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the charity’s strategic direction and governance, ensuring we achieve our charitable purpose and are well run. We are currently looking for an experienced finance professional to join our Board as Treasurer/Finance Trustee. The Treasurer plays a key role in overseeing the charity’s financial health and ensuring the Board can make informed, responsible decisions.
You may be a qualified accountant or have equivalent knowledge gained by experience. Previous trustee experience or experience of a charity is not essential but would be an advantage.
