PTENUKI is a patient-led charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by PTEN Hamartoma Tumour Syndrome (PHTS) across the UK and Ireland. The charity supports patients and families by promoting health and wellbeing, increasing awareness among healthcare professionals for earlier diagnosis and better treatment, and encouraging vital research into PHTS management and care.
We are seeking a Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees and take responsibility for overseeing the charity’s financial affairs. This voluntary role is ideal for someone with an accounting background who wants to use their skills to make a real difference. The Treasurer will ensure strong financial governance, maintain accurate records, prepare annual budgets and accounts, and provide clear financial advice to the board.
The position involves attending quarterly trustee meetings, preparing annual accounts, and spending around one hour per month on ongoing financial matters. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause, support a small but impactful charity, and gain rewarding experience in the charity sector.
