Are you a strategic financial leader with a passion for making a difference? The NSPCC is seeking a new Treasurer to join its Board of Trustees, a pivotal role at the heart of one of the UK’s most respected and impactful charities. As Treasurer, you’ll help steer the financial health and governance of an organisation that’s been fighting to end child abuse and neglect for over 140 years. This is your opportunity to bring your expertise to a cause that matters now more than ever.

As Treasurer, you will chair the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee and provide expert guidance on financial oversight, risk management, and strategic viability. You’ll work closely with the Director of Finance and Technology, fellow Trustees, and external partners to ensure our resources are used effectively and ethically. Your insight will help shape investment and reserves policies, pension arrangements, and our long-term financial sustainability.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of strategic financial leadership in a complex organisation, deep governance experience, and a commitment to our values. You’ll be commercially astute, analytically sharp, and emotionally intelligent. Above all, you’ll have a growth mindset and be driven by a desire to create a safer world for children.
