Closing Date:  Monday 7th April 2025  Based: TAA works in schools in the London boroughs of Lewisham and Greenwich

Talk About Art (TAA) is wishing to appoint a new Treasurer with a keen interest in the cultural sector and engagement opportunities targeting children and young people.

TAA delivers projects in schools bringing artists, architects and designers together with children and young people at risk of absenteeism and those struggling to engage with mainstream education, often due to a variety of mental health conditions and the impact of the Covid pandemic.

2025 will see TAA embark on an exciting period of change to consolidate the focus of our work and develop our Board for a sustainable future.

We receive our core funding from the Elizabeth Legacy Fund and fundraise to deliver our ambitious projects in schools in the London boroughs of Lewisham and Greenwich.

The responsibility of the Treasurer is to maintain an overview of the charity’s affairs, ensuring its financial viability and that the charity has policies and systems in place to ensure robust financial planning, implementation and reporting.

The new Treasurer will have previous experience of financial management, in particular in a charitable and/or arts context.

Per year, Board members are required to attend four board meetings and an AGM, held in person or via online platforms.
