Exeter Scrapstore is a small educational charity with a remit to re-use clean waste materials from manufacturing processes, companies and individuals that would otherwise be sent directly to landfill. Our wide range of reclaimed materials, haberdashery and arts and craft shop provide inspiration for creative and educational projects at affordable prices. We have 1000s of users from families & individuals to community groups, charities and schools in Exeter and wider Devon. We also operate a membership scheme and look forward to a future of sustainable growth. Our Aladdin’s Cave of treasures operate out of WW2 army hut in a beautiful park.

After 7 years, our volunteer finance officer/treasurer is stepping down. She has left the accounts in a very good order. But this has necessitated the need to urgently look for a finance officer/treasurer who can support our core staff of one part-time lead worker and associated casual workers. This would be to ensure various financial/bookkeeping tasks, monthly and quarterly reports and forecasting, and compliance with Companies House and the Charity Commission requirements are met.
