Made in Hackney started life in 2012 as the UK’s first fully vegan community cookery school. Today, we are a thriving charity on a mission to tackle health inequalities, improve access to nutritious, climate-friendly food, and bring communities together through the power of plants.
The impact of our work is varied, far-reaching and very real, changing hundreds of thousands of people’s lives for the better as we support those most impacted by systemic inequality and strive to build a fairer, more sustainable food system for all.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a senior finance professional to join our Board of Trustees as our new Treasurer.
Our Treasurer plays a crucial role on the Board; offering strategic financial leadership and insight that helps us balance our vision and ambition with sustainability, good governance and responsible stewardship.
