Build on Belief is an innovative and dynamic charity, working across London and the South-East. We are a lived experience recovery charity, dedicated to helping people who have, or have had issues with drugs and alcohol use, working to improve and sustain their health, wellbeing and skills in order they can lead more fulfilling lives.
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our Board as Hon. Treasurer. The Treasurer/Finance Trustee plays a key role in overseeing the charity’s financial health and ensuring the Board can make informed, responsible decisions.
You don’t need to have been a trustee before, but you should have a good understanding of financial management and charities. What you will bring is:
- Qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or senior finance experience
- Knowledge of charity finance and reporting
- Strategic and operational financial skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration
In terms of commitment, the Board meets bi-monthly for two hours on a Tuesday evenings in Earls Court.
