The River Thame Conservation Trust (RTCT) is a local environmental charity.  Its aim is to improve the biodiversity and water quality of the River Thame and its surrounding freshwaters and to improve public understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of the river catchments and wildlife.

RTCT’s four strategic priorities are to:

  • develop partnerships with other NGOs with complementary interests;
  • increase biodiversity through its habitat creation and restoration;
  • promote volunteering and citizen science; and
  • maintain its financial security.

RTCT is looking to appoint a new Trustee with the role of RTCT Treasurer. As well as fulfilling the general duties of a Trustee, the Treasurer will be expected to:

  • support financial oversight
  • ensure good governance
  • act as a bridge between the Board and finance staff
  • have financial/accounting qualifications and experience
