The Scar Free Foundation is the only medical research charity dedicated to achieving a world without scarring. Over the past 25 years we have invested more than £50 million in pioneering research in wound healing, regenerative medicine and psychological care for people living with scars. Our vision is simple and ambitious: to improve lives today while working towards scar free healing for future generations.
We are led by Chair Professor Sir Bruce Keogh KBE FRCS, former NHS Medical Director, and Chief Executive Lieutenant General RTD Richard Nugee CB CVO CBE, whose leadership combines clinical excellence and military innovation. Together they are steering an exciting new phase of growth, strengthening our governance, partnerships and impact as we work towards real world treatments.
