Rose Road Association is a lifeline for many of the children and young people with complex disabilities and their families that we support in Hampshire and neighbouring counties. We offer a range of services from community outreach and activities led by the young person’s choice, out in the community or learning new skills through baking, craft or music. To overnight services, to socialise with other friends from Rose Road or have a bath which they may not have access to at home. This helps reduce loneliness, develops new skills and supports their independence as well as providing respite and reassurance to the family. We aspire for the whole family unit to thrive together and live a life well lived, with choice and opportunities.
We are currently looking for a new Treasurer Trustee as our current Treasurer is going onto pastures new after 5 years on the Board. We are looking for someone with a financial background and someone with a strong empathy with Rose Road’s Visions of a community where disabled people and their families can thrive, feel a sense of belonging and achieve their aspirations.
