One Can Trust provides goods and services for local households who are experiencing hardship. We started out as a foodbank and now provide a range of community services including children’s clothing bank, toddler groups and a community café (which is run by a CIC), to help people improve their situations, increase financial resilience and increase community cohesion. We are seeking a new Treasurer for when our current Treasurer steps down later in the year. We are looking for someone with recent and relevant experience to join our friendly board to provide financial oversight and strategic finance, and some coaching for our administrator who is not a finance expert. We have recently developed our first organisational strategy and are at the start of a piece of work to secure new long term premises.
