Age UK Waltham Forest is seeking committed and enthusiastic Volunteer Trustees to join our Board.
We are a local charity supporting older people across Waltham Forest, helping to reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing, and ensure older residents can live later life to the full. Our Board of Trustees plays a vital role in guiding the charity’s strategy, governance, and long-term sustainability.
Trustees attend Board meetings every two to three months, held on a Thursday at 3:30pm, and contribute their skills, experience, and insight to help shape our work.
We particularly welcome applications from people with experience or interest in:
- Issues affecting older or vulnerable people
- HR
- Legal matters (especially leases)
- Accountancy or finance
- Fundraising
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your local community while gaining valuable board-level experience.
