Deadline: Ongoing

Hope Education Project is a survivor-led anti-trafficking charity. We work through schools and communities in Northern Ghana to prevent trafficking at its source – equipping young people to recognise risk and resist recruitment.
We registered as a UK charity in October 2025. We are building our board and our financial systems from the ground up, and we are looking for a Treasurer to help us do it well. You will oversee our finances: budgeting, reporting, Gift Aid, and the financial controls that stand up to funder scrutiny.
The role can grow into a full trusteeship for the right person, helping steer HEP’s strategy and governance as we grow.
This is a voluntary, remote role with a modest, flexible time commitment. Our finances are not complex yet. We are looking for the right candidate to lay solid foundations from the start, and shape how we manage money as we grow.

Based: We are based in Reading, Berkshire but our program work is carried out in Ghana
