Morts Astley Heritage Trust is a registered charity formed to preserve, and enhance the grade II*-listed building and its surrounding woodland, known as Damhouse, for the benefit of the public, with the objectives of providing community and wellbeing facilities, employment and the retention of the Historic Estate for the present and future generations.
The role of Deputy Treasurer provides crucial support to the Honorary Treasurer to ensure the financial planning and governance are robust.
About the role
As a member of our Trustee Board, you will:
– Help ensure strong financial governance.
– Support budgeting, financial planning, and risk management.
– Scrutinise management accounts and annual reports.
– Provide guidance on charity financial regulations and best practices.
– Deputise for Treasurer when necessary
