Closing date: 27th February
PiP is seeking a trustee with financial and accounting skills to help deliver an ambitious five-year strategy for adults with learning disabilities, building on recent growth to deepen support, reach more people, and influence systems change.
Trustees play a key role in guiding and governing PiP’s work, sharing responsibility for governance, compliance, accountability, and strategic decision-making. Our Board is diverse in terms of gender, race, age, and experience and we are keen to retain this strength.
PiP is particularly interested in candidates with finance and accountancy experience (charity or commercial), strong communication skills, and an understanding of person-centred approaches to addressing inequalities for adults with learning disabilities. Trustees should be committed to PiP’s values and willing to contribute time and expertise.
The Board meets six times a year on weekday evenings. The role is voluntary, with reasonable expenses reimbursed.
Applications should include a CV and covering letter and be emailed to CEO Denise Largin at denisel@piponline.org.uk by Friday, 27 February.
Interviews will take place in early March. Further details are available in the attached Trustee Candidate Pack and our website.
