Root & Branch is a mental health charity based at Westmill Farm, Watchfield, Oxfordshire. We are looking for a Treasurer to join on Board of Trustees.
We support adults experiencing significant and enduring mental health difficulties. Through therapeutic gardening, rural crafts, cooking and other practical activities, we provide a safe and welcoming environment where people can build confidence, learn new skills, develop friendships and take positive steps in their recovery.
Our services are free to participants and include a nutritious vegetarian lunch, opportunities to spend time in nature and individual support towards personal goals. Root & Branch has been supporting people in the local community for 25 years and works closely with volunteers, referrers and partner organisations across Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.
Root and Branch is in a good financial position with sufficient reserves. We’ve recently received funding from the National Lottery to further develop our service at the farm but also to develop an outreach service.
Our Office Manager manages our finances using Xero and so some experience with this system would be useful but not necessary.
This role can be fulfilled remotely.
