We are supported by over 300 members and have recently been awarded the Kings Award for Voluntary Service. The charity is currently in the process of developing a long-term business plan and strategy to ensure the sustainability of the charity so that we can continue to lead on building on the legacy of the S&DR200 events, supporting heritage led regeneration in County Durham and the Tees Valley for years to come.
We are seeking a volunteer treasurer who can provide guidance to the trustees to support good financial practice, ensure robust financial systems are in place and monitor the Charity’s financial stability, advising on the financial implications of strategic plans.
The ideal candidate will have experience in finance, accounting or bookkeeping, preferably with experience of charity finance and governance and an ability to collaborate with a diverse team, acting with sound judgement, integrity and discretion.
