Deadline: Friday 27th March

The Royal College of Paramedics (RCoP) is the professional body representing paramedics across the UK, championing excellence in patient care, advancing education and research, and supporting members working in urgent, emergency, primary, community and specialist care. Following its recent attainment of Royal College status, the organisation is entering a significant phase of growth and transformation, including digital modernisation, strengthened governance, and long‑term organisational development.

RCoP is seeking its first Honorary Treasurer, a voluntary but strategically critical Board role, to provide expert financial leadership at this pivotal moment. The Treasurer will guide the Board and Finance, Risk & Assurance Committee on financial strategy, governance, reporting, and risk management, ensuring the College’s resources are sustainably managed and aligned with its mission. Working closely with the Chief Executive and senior team, the role will underpin transparent planning, support investment in member value, and help shape the future of the paramedic profession.

This opportunity is ideal for a senior finance leader with strong strategic capability, board‑level experience, and a commitment to inclusive governance. A recognised accounting qualification is essential; healthcare experience is welcome but not required.
