CAS, founded in 1972 and totally voluntary, rescues/rehabs/rehomes 500+ cats and 100+ rabbits each year and helps (through networks) dozens of dogs per annum.
Working closely with the Board of Trustees, the postholder will bring a passion for governance to the Charity starting its second semicentennial, to help ensure not only that CAS is financially sound and compliant, but that it builds a clear, sustainable fiscal model for the future.
Time commitment: 12-15 hours per month, on average, including monthly management accounts preparation/presentation to trustee meetings (can be done remotely but in person attendance 2-3 times per year at meetings in Croydon would be requested if possible)
CAS is looking for a qualified accountant or senior finance manager (QBE) to bring necessary fiscal rigour to enable CAS to survive and thrive.
