The Friends of Kenwood support English Heritage in its management of Kenwood House and its collections and estate on the edge of Hampstead Heath in North London. Kenwood is an 18th century Robert Adam mansion and is open to the public free of charge.
We are looking for a Treasurer to take over from the current holder of this position, who has been in office for fifteen years. The job calls for an experienced and qualified accountant who can take control of all financial and statutory matters, including day-to-day transactions, preparation of quarterly and year-end accounts, banking and cash management programme
The Treasurer works closely other officers of the charity and also with English Heritage personnel.
This position will attract someone with an interest in classical art and architecture.
